Pregnancy and postpartum can feel big, exciting, overwhelming, and everything in between, you don’t have to navigate it alone, come find your village of people and support.
Birth & Beyond Cumbria is a space that is there to support you though and in preparing for birth and early parenthood, though evidence based education, practical skills and space to talk and ask questions with two experienced birth workers.
Each month we’ll gather to learn, share, ask questions and build confidence in your own way of birthing and beyond, come at any stage or pregnancy or postpartum, bring kids, partners or family. More the merrier.
We want the local community is at the heart of this group , and yes… there will always be cake haha

From September
We are changing things up slightly, we are going to run 6 weeks of sessions covering different topics, we have also decided we need to extend the time for discussion and questions. The sessions will now be 1:30 h and cost £15 per person, or £25 when booked as a couple.

Our honest opinion is that ALL the session are perfect for everyone, but they are drop in, and come to as many or as little as you wish.

October 29th - Planning a Cesarean Sections and birth Healing
November 12th -Preparing to Breastfeeding & Infant feeding
November 26th - What to expect in the fourth trimester & Infant sleep
December 10th - Q&A with two experienced birth workers on any subject

Who ? Everyone at ANY stage of pregnancy. Partners VERY welcome.
What stage of pregnancy? ANY- its never to early to start learning and beginning this journey.
What to bring? - Water bottle, yourself, questions and curiosity. ( We bring the cake)
